One of Israel’s most noted Kosher wine producers will be featured at an upcoming dinner event at Café Boulud in Palm Beach.

Domaine du Castel Winery, also a key player in Israel’s boutique wine movement, is the focus of the restaurant’s next wine dinner on Oct. 18.

One of the anticipated highlights of the event is a special guest slated to attend: Ilana Ben-Zaken from Domaine Du Castel Winery.

The evening begins with a 6:45 p.m. reception.

Dinner at 7 p.m. includes four wine-paired courses conceived by a trio of Café Boulud’s culinary team: sommelier Imre Papp, executive chef Rick Mace and head pastry chef Julie Franceschini.

Dinner dishes are to include stuffed vegetables, spice-braised barramundi, wood-roasted leg of lamb, and vanilla mousse with jasmine crémeux and white-sesame ice cream.

According to Café Boulud, the wine dinner will feature a rare rosé, the “famed” Petit Castel and Grand Vin, and a Muscat dessert wine, among other pours.

The Oct. 18 Domaine du Castel wine dinner is $115 a person. Advance reservations are required.
